How do I apply for a student loan?

The National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) manages all Canada Student Loans issued on or after August 1, 2000. In other words, you no longer need to go to a financial institution to obtain a Canada Student Loan. Instead, your loan is funded by the Government of Canada through the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC). When it comes time to repay your loan, you will repay the NSLSC (for loans issued on or after August 1, 2000). Your province might also offer Provincial Student Loans.
